Clickner to retire from LSCP

MARQUETTE, MI--   The CEO of the Lake Superior Community Partnership is retiring next spring.

Amy Clickner has been with the organization for nearly 23 years. She was recruited by Marquette County leaders when the LSCP was established after the K.I. Sawyer Air Force base closed.

Today the LSCP serves more than $3,900 employers throughout the region. It assists with workforce development, strategic planning and leadership development.

The LSCP Board of Directors has formally launched an official search process to recruit Clickner’s successor. Officials expect to name the group’s next CEO by early 2021.

Nicole was born near Detroit but has lived in the U.P. most of her life. She graduated from Marquette Senior High School and attended Michigan State and Northern Michigan Universities, graduating from NMU in 1993 with a degree in English.
